1.8km Swim

The protected bay of Senggigi Beach will ensure a calm sea for the 1800m Swim consisting of 2 laps of 900m. Be kind to your fellow competitors at the start and turns of the swim course.

Enjoy the gentle start of the race, as the rest of it will make enough waves.

55km Cycle

Important note: The bike course has been reversed!

The bike course still has all elements of a great bike ride. It has just gotten a bit more difficult with the hardest part of the ride at the end. Keep this in mind when you put your head down on the first 15km of flat roads before you start the 6km ascent of Mount/Gunung Pusuk or when you get overly excited riding through the lush green Monkey Forest and pick up the pace as you are still feeling fresh.

The real climbing frenzy begins 35 km into your ride when you hit the final 20km of beautiful coastal road with lots of sharp climbs and stunning sea views (which you may or may not appreciate at that point). So, don't say that you had not been warned when you hit the wall on one of the short, but steep hills on the coastal roller coaster. A drink stations at the 35km point (start of the coastal road) will provide you with water in 750ml drink bottles. We don't expect you to finish the race, but we do want to keep you alive.

We have more in store for you! The 12km includes more stunning sea views. Yes, this means more climbing and for the spectators enjoyment we will make you do two laps of it. At this stage of the race walking, staggering and crawling is allowed!

If you do make it to the finish line, we assure you a hero's welcome.If you are not just superfit, but also smart (already in question for the fact that you are taking part) you will make full use of the many drink stations with isotonic drinks, water and sponges that will cover the run course. Prepare to weep, so hydrate well!
