When we organised the inaugural Lombok Triathlon last year, we were astonished to see some of the local runners taking part in bare feet. In Lombok a family income may be as little as 1 US dollar per day so a pair of running shoes is often an unaffordable luxury. In stark contrast many of us have at home running shoes we consider worn out and ready to be thrown away.
We are seeking your support. Please bring to Lombok your old running shoes and we will distribute them to the local Lombok runners.
